A child’s smile is priceless.
Let’s come together to create as many of them as possible.

About foundation

We are a foundation dedicated to creating a safer, healthier, and more equitable environment for those who need support the most. Our work is focused on children and young people, as well as individuals facing difficult life challenges, with the goal of providing them with dignity, care, and the opportunity for a better quality of life.

We believe that every child deserves a carefree childhood, access to education, and the chance to reach their full potential. That is why we develop programs that support young people through education, mentorship, and meaningful life opportunities.
At the same time, we are committed to supporting individuals affected by serious illnesses — through assistance with treatment, improvements in healthcare and care conditions, and by helping ease everyday life for them and their families.

Our approach is comprehensive and guided by empathy, responsibility, and a genuine desire to make a lasting difference. Through supporting initiatives of public interest in the fields of culture, art, science, and environmental protection, we also contribute to broader social development.

Through cooperation with individuals, institutions, and the wider community, we are building a network of solidarity that ensures support reaches those who need it most.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to be a source of strength in the hardest moments and support when it matters most.

Our team

Bojan Jevtić

Chairman of the Board

As Chairman of the Board, I am first and foremost a family man and the father of four wonderful daughters, who are my greatest motivation and strength. My family’s life experience — especially the battle and victory of one of my daughters over a severe form of cancer, despite all prognoses — has profoundly shaped my perspective on life and strengthened my desire to help others.

Over the past several years, I have pursued an entrepreneurial path and become a co-owner of Avalon Real Estate. As a former basketball player, I learned the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance — principles I apply today both in business and in the work of the Foundation.

I believe that true social responsibility is measured not by words, but by actions, and I strive to lead by example, showing that success only gains its full meaning when shared with others.
And if you ask me what life with my wife and four daughters looks like — let’s just say I’ve learned to negotiate better than in any business meeting.

Through life, I have learned that challenges, struggles, and uncertainty are an inevitable part of every journey. The moments when we are faced with difficult decisions, loss, or illness shape us far more than any success ever could. In such situations, we learn to rely on ourselves — on our own strength, perseverance, and belief that we can and must keep moving forward.

And yet, during those moments, it becomes clear that our own strength is not always enough. The people around us — family, friends, and those who appear at the right moment — often provide the support that helps us carry on even in the hardest times.

That is why I am part of the Avalon Foundation, because I deeply believe that no one should have to go through life’s most difficult moments alone. Through the Foundation, I want to help build a support system that is there when it is needed most, while also advocating for a fairer and more inclusive society in which everyone has the right to be different.

Đorđe Stanisavljević

Hi, I’m Đorđe — the father of an amazing boy who probably knows more about football and World Cups than most sports commentators.

Both personally and professionally, I have a great passion for real estate, and I also enjoy running and traveling. I believe that success has little meaning unless it is shared with others, and that idea is exactly what inspired the creation of this Foundation together with my closest friends.
Through concrete actions, I wanted to demonstrate social responsibility and provide support to young people and socially vulnerable individuals who need it most, with a special focus on the inclusion of children with developmental disabilities, their equal participation in society, and the creation of an environment that encourages understanding, support, and equal opportunities for everyone.

Through the Foundation, I hope to inspire people to work together in building a better and more compassionate society — because small acts can sometimes change someone’s entire life.
And if I occasionally don’t answer my phone, there’s a good chance I’m either out running, looking at commercial properties… or listening to my son’s detailed analysis of the 1998 World Cup final.

Tanja Jevtić

Foundation Manager

As the Foundation Manager, I combine my organizational skills with a commitment to meaningful and humanitarian goals.

My life’s mission has been deeply shaped by my role as a mother of four daughters and by a struggle that permanently changed my priorities. My path toward humanitarian work is inseparably connected to the greatest challenge my family has faced — the treatment of our eldest daughter, who battled a severe form of cancer. Today, with that battle thankfully behind us, I never forget those who are still going through similar challenges.

From that personal experience, as well as from empathy and gratitude, came the desire to stand beside those who need support the most.
Together with my husband, Bojan, I strive to offer help, understanding, and hope to families facing difficult circumstances. My vision is clear: to help create a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment for children and young people. I believe that the Avalon Foundation is more than an organization — it is a growing family, strengthened with every child whose life it touches.

Nikola Ristivojević

Board Member

Hi, I’m Nikola — a husband, father of two children, and someone who truly came to understand the meaning of responsibility, patience, and unconditional love through family life.

Over the years, business has taught me about negotiations, investments, and making important decisions, but my children have taught me what matters most — that time, attention, and presence are priceless. That is why today I no longer measure success only by professional achievements, but also by the kind of person I am outside the office.

One of my greatest passions is motorcycles and traveling. During long rides, I find peace, freedom, and those rare moments when a person is left alone with their thoughts. It is then that I realize most clearly how precious life, family, and health truly are, and how often we forget to appreciate the small things.

I believe that every person, regardless of their profession or success, has a responsibility to leave something good behind. That is why I strongly believe in support, togetherness, and helping those in need — because sometimes even the smallest gesture can change someone’s life.

The First Initiative of the Avalon Foundation — Support for Little Heroes

We are very proud and happy to share our first official initiative. For us, this donation carries deep emotional significance and represents exactly the reason the Avalon Foundation was created. We are pleased to have donated funds in support of this year’s children’s camp in Žabljak for children who have undergone treatment for malignant diseases. The camp is organized by Hedonist Village, a project led with great dedication and care by Bojana Rogulić, in cooperation with NURDOR, the National Association of Parents of Children with CancerAnyone who has gone through the battle with malignant diseases knows how precious moments of rest, nature, and support are for the entire family. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a smile on the face of a child who has come out of a hospital room after months, and in many cases years, of exhausting treatment. These children are true little heroes who had to grow up far too soon, and it is in places like this — in the mountains, through play and socialization — that they get the chance to simply be children again.Helping them regain a sense of joy and strength after such long treatments is one of the greatest privileges and sources of fulfillment we can experience as human beings.
Every donation, whether large or small, is a step closer to a child’s smile.

Visit to the Home for Children and Youth “Stanko Paunović” in Negotin

There are places that change you forever the moment you step inside. One of them is the Home for Children and Youth “Stanko Paunović” in Negotin — an institution that currently serves as a safe haven for 20 residents: Bane, Stefan, Ersan, Ivana, Slađana, Lazar, Miloje, Aleksandar, Miroslav, Aranđel,
Uroš, Suzana, Anđelka, Milica, Andrija, Petar, Mario, Stefan, Veljko, and Petar. Among them are twelve children and young people with mild or more severe developmental disabilities. Our team visited the Home and, on that occasion, delivered aid packages intended for the children’s daily and most urgent needs. The Home also received new towels, clothing, and gym mats for the children’s playroom, in order to make their living and therapy space more comfortable. This visit was deeply emotional for our team. It is difficult to describe the modest conditions in which these children live, but it is even harder not to be moved by the warmth and love with which they are surrounded by the staff. These wonderful people, led by Director Nadica Vasić, dedicate immense love, effort, and commitment every day to providing safety, care, and dignity for the children. However, love — as essential as it is — cannot pay the bills or cover all the specific needs of this institution. The Home in Negotin faces serious financial challenges and relies heavily on donations from people of goodwill. With this visit, the Avalon Foundation has opened the door to a long-term partnership and friendship. We do not want to stop at a single donation. These children and young people deserve continuous support in order to have equal opportunities for healthier and happier development.
