After nearly 20 years working for companies specializing in investment consulting, Jevtić decided to start his own business. He shared his journey with us on BIZcast.
“I would love to say I entered the world of real estate with a plan, but I ended up in this business entirely by accident. I went to a job interview with a company whose name I didn’t even know at the time. I wasn’t really eager to work; I had just finished my basketball career,” he begins. “For me, real estate started completely spontaneously,” Jevtić concludes.
Jevtić emphasizes that you always start from the bottom and that no one fresh out of college is handed a director’s position. Instead, success requires a lot of time, effort, and hard work.
“Only when we felt we had enough knowledge and strength to start something of our own did we take the next step. That’s when I realized I couldn’t grow any further and wanted to try running my own business,” Jevtić said.
